Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Nov 27th
Kosa
The retirees have fished Lake Norman twice since I last caught up with them. The first one was won by Ronnie Humphries with 9.8 and he had big fish of the day with a 3.2 largemouth. David O’Shields and Doug Sparrow claimed second with 8.1 and in third was John Black and Roger McNeely with  5.3.  Last week, David O’Shields fished solo and took the win with 8.7, and he had big bass of the day with 2.8. John Black and Roger McNeely were second with 6.7 and in third with 3.5 was Ronnie Humphries. Word is O’Shields likes taking the truck payment money home with him and looks to stay on top for a while.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters fished Stumpy Pond a week or so back and Mark Swink brought in 17.5 to take the win, he anchored that with big bas of the day, a 5.2 largemouth. Terry Knight had 13.15 and took second place with Bubba Sprouse getting third with 10.1. Tom Gavin had 8.4 to edge out Brandon Scarborough, who had 8.3 for fourth and fifth. The Bass Casters will fish Lake Wateree December 8 from 7 til 3.
 Bass Master Classic
The field is set for the Bass Master Classic, which will be on Lake Guntersville February 21-23, 2014. I think there is 1 spot yet to be filled and as of now only 2 ‘Carolina boys’ will be in the field. Hank Cherry representing North Carolina and Casey Ashley representing South Carolina. Best of luck to both of them.
