The retirees have fished Lakes Wylie and Norman since last report. On Lake Wylie it was Larry Melton and Rick LaMountain winning with 5.99. John and Earl Proctor claimed second with 3.65 and in third was Darrell Hager with 2.52, which also took big bass honors.
On Lake Norman, again it was Larry Melton and Rick LaMountain winning, this time with 9.04 and a big bass of 2.10. Darrell Hager and Roger Neal had 8.13 to take second with John Black and David O'Shields settling in third with 6.36.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished on Fishing Creek last weekend. Roger Beaver took the win with 13.86, he anchored that with big bass of the day, a 4.42 large mouth. Rick LaMountain was second with 6.70 followed by RC with 5.38. Nick Beaver had 4.48 to claim fourth and in fifth with 3.72 was Larry Melton. Lake Norman will be the last event of 2017 for the CCBC and it will be held on a date yet to be determined.
