On Moss Lake two weeks ago, David Hendrick and Bryan Thrift grabbed first place with 8.24, and they anchored that with big bass of the night, a 3.54 large mouth. Second place with 2.66 was Jeremy Bouldin and Tyler Ward. Third went to Amos Shearer and Charles Accor with 1.54.
Last week, Jeremy Bouldin and Tyler Ward picked up the win with 6.16 and anchored it with big bass of the night, a 2.82 large mouth. Johnny and Reggie Guffey had 4.88 and were second, with Jason Hinson third with 4.64.
Kosa
The retirees fished Mountain Island Lake for a change of pace, Ray Hembree and George Crosswhite got the win with 6.9. Larry Melton and James Osborne had 5.9 to claim second and third was J R Garland and Rick Miars with 4.8. Big bass was a 3.9 brought in by Melton and Osborne.
Lake Hickory was the other change of pace lake, Little Earl and John Proctor had 6.4 to take first place. John Black and Roger McNeely had 3.9, good for second. They also had big bass of 2.0. Larry Melton and James Osborne had 3.0 and was third. This week it is back to Lake Norman.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake James recently and the fishing was tough. Roger Beaver won with 5.52, followed by Robbie Rush with 5.06, he also had big bass of the day with a 2.58 large mouth. Larry Melton claimed third with 2.12, with Tammy Melton fourth, bringing in 1.86. Fifth with .78 was Jimmy Melton.
