Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report October 3rd Edition
Kosa
Since I missed last week, I have two reports from both Kosa and Moss Lake. Week before last, the Kosa bunch were on Lake Wylie. John Black and Roger McNeely brought in 11.1 and took first place. They also had big bass of the day with a 3.0 largemouth. David O’Shields and Doug Sparrow had 8.1 and were second with Mack Wyatt and Ken Johnson getting third with 4.8.
This past week, it was Lake Norman and John Black and Roger McNeely picked up the win again, this time with 8.6 and they had big bass, which was a 3.1 largemouth. J R Garland and Rick Maiers had 7.7 and were second with Ronnie Humphries taking third with 5.7. This week it is back to Lake Wylie and I predict that Black and McNeely will take ‘Pinky’ and pull out a win.
Moss
Seventeen boats fished two weeks ago as Buddy Black and Jason Rhodes picked up the win with 9.86. J R Garland and Ronnie Beason had 6.46 and were second, they had big bass of the evening with a 3.78 largemouth. Randy and Randall Wright had 5.85 to take third with Ronnie and Jason Hinson close behind with 5.50. Reggie and Johnny Guffey settled in fifth with 5.32. Last week, only 15 boats made the weekly Thursday trip to Moss Lake. Buddy Black and Jason Rhodes made it two in a row as they had 8.37 and got the win. Larry Denton and Brian Fitch had 5.51 to claim second and Randy Wright was third with 3.78 and they took big bass of the evening.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters were on Lookout Shoals last weekend. Mark Swink picked up the win with 8.12. Chris Hoopaugh had 4.14 and was second with Terry Knight a pound back with 3.14. Tom Gavin had 3.7 and was fourth  and taking fifth was Cody Swink with 1.12. There was a tie for big bass between Mark Swink and Tom Gavin, as both had a 3.3 largemouth. Next up for the Bass Casters is Lake Hickory on October 13.
