Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Sept 25, 2014
Kosa
The retirees fished Lakes Norman and Wylie since last report. On Lake Norman, JR Garland and Rick Miers brought in 9.2 and got the win over Larry Melton and James Osborne, with 8.8. John Black and Roger McNeely had 6.4 and took third. Big bass was a 2.7 largemouth brought in by Fred Wright.
On Lake Wylie, David O’Shield and Doug Sparrow picked up the win with 7.6. John Black and Roger McNeely had 6.7 and claimed second. Ray Hembree and George Crosswhite settled in third with 1.8. The team of O’Shields and Sparrow had big bass with a 2.5. This week its Lake Norman again and time change to 8am - 2pm.
Moss
Larry Denton and Brent Shytle took the win over an 18 boat field two weeks ago on Moss Lake at the weekly Thursday night tournaments. They had 12.68 and anchored that with big bass of the night, a 3.97 largemouth. Bryan Thrift and Matt Arey had 10.70 and were second. J R Garland and Ronnie Beason brought in 5.19 and were third with Glenn Eaves and Rodney Mitchem taking fourth with 4.80. Austin Williams and Arnold Ledford claimed fifth place with 4.58.
Last week, again 18 boats fished with Holden and Jamie McSwain getting the win with 8.63. Michael and Buddy Black had 7.73, good for second and third with 6.36 was Austin Williams and Arnold Ledford. Tyler Ward and Jeremy Bouldin  were fourth with 6.04. Maverick Canipe took fifth with 5.80.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake Wylie last week, Roger Beaver got the win with 6.82 followed by Tom Mayhew with 3.84. Maverick Canipe had 3.54 and was third while Jeremy Bouldin got fourth with 2.66. John Rankin settled in fifth with 1.68.
