Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Sept. 27th Edition
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club has fished two events, and with the problems I have had with email, I miss them. Lake High Rock was the first event, Roger Beaver got the win with 8.36 followed by John Rankin with 7.58. Jimmy Melton was third with 5.34, and he had big bass as well, with that same 5.34 largemouth, Jason Price had 4.32 and fifth went to Ronnie Humphrie4s with 4.14.
Most recently, the CCBC was on Lake Wylie and Larry Melton grabbed the win with 4.44. Ray Hembree had 3.58 and was second and he took big fish with a 2.14 largemouth. Roger Beaver had 3.18 and was third followed by John Rankin with 3.08. Fifth with 2.72 was James Osborne.
Kosa
The retirees fished Lake Wylie last week and John Black fished solo and got the win with 9.95. Second with 9.10 was Dean Champion and Ken Johnson, they also had big bass with a 2.90 largemouth, Ronnie Humphriess had 6.40 and was third. This week they had back to Lake Norman.
Moss
Seventeen boats fished last Thursday in the weekly bass tournament. Larry Denton and Allen McSwain got first with 8.81. Buddy and Michale Black had 7.56 and was second with Ronnie Beason and J R Garland a close third with 7.13. Charles and Maverick Canipe got fourth with 5.56. Big bass was a 2.98 largemouth brought in by Scott Kiser and Tom Mayhew.
