Kosa
The retirees fished Lake Wylie last week, John Black and Roger McNeely got the win with a catch of 12.2. Fred Wright and Mack Wyatt had 6.1 and took second, Ronnie Humphries claimed third with 5.2. Big bass of the day was a 3.4 largemouth brought in by the team of Wright and Wyatt. This week, it’s back to Lake Norman.
Moss
Nineteen boats fished the Thursday weekly bass tournament on Moss Lake. Buddy and Michael Black picked up the win with 10.02. Obie and Jeanie Long had 8.42 to take second. There was a tie for third between the teams of Chet Beam/ Mitch McCracken and Donald Bell, both had 7.67. Brent Shytles and Arnold Ledford settled in fifth with 5.17. Shytles and Ledford also had big bass for the night with a 2.80 largemouth.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake Rhodhiss last weekend and Jamie Canipe showed out. He had a five bass limit totaling 16.68 and anchored that with the big bass of the day, a 5.44 largemouth. Second, with 8.02 was Ronnie Humphries and Tom Mayhew had 7.69 which was good enough for third. Maverick Canipe got fourth with 5..64 and fifth was Virgil Hamrick with 5.22.
