Bruce Edward Wiggins, 74, of Shelby passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Cleveland County on November 4, 1951, he was the son of the late Edward Yates Wiggins and Lucille Allen Wiggins.

Additionally, Bruce served in the Army stationed at Walter Reed. He was a co-owner and operator of Dental Arts Incorporated, and he was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and River Bend Golf Course.

Bruce is survived by his son Jacob Wiggins and wife Jennifer of Mooresboro; daughter, Laura Porter and husband Ace of Shelby; grandchildren, Savannah Ford, Landon Porter, Paisley Wiggins, Callie Wiggins, and Baleigh Wiggins.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Rose Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Billy Boone officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, Fallston.
