Brylee Powell, Young Miss Outstanding Shelby, is planning to compete for the title of Young Miss North Carolina. In order for her to run for Young Miss North Carolina she has to create a platform. Brylee has decided to base her platform on helping kids with special needs/disabilities. She is holding a fundraiser which is going to be a ball game for those kids. She wants to offer the kids something they may have never been able to do and is accepting sponsors, if anyone wants to help sponsor her event. There are different sponsor packages. If you know of a child that would like to participate in Brylee's Miracle Makers event please call Brylee at 704-466-2706. The event will be held Sunday, May 31, 2015. Gates open at 1:00, game starts at 3:00, at Crest High School.
She is still looking for sponsors, and a few more participates. There numerous amounts of vendors signed up to work the ball game, and there will be concessions as well. Each participant will receive a t shirt, an award, and a Miracle Makers bag. Any money left over after the event, Brylee will be donating it to Kids around Shelby with special needs/disabilities.
