Bryte Elaine Newton Parker, 85 of Will Hudson Road, Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Born in Cleveland County, on September 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Alexander Newton and Bertha Lunette Lail Newton. Mrs. Parker was retired from JP Stevens and Century Furniture and was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Parker, Sr.; four brothers, Bill Newton, Harold Newton, Joe Newton and Charles Newton and three sisters, Leona West, Linda Newton and Nancy Towne.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Parker Frady and husband, James of Lawndale; son, Larry Parker, Jr. of Lawndale; brother, Steve Newton of Dallas; sister, Dot Morgan of Lattimore; two grandchildren, Savannah Lail and husband, Matt and John Frady and wife, Kaitlyn; one great-granddaughter, Evie Caroline Lail and adopted family, Ann Jarrett and husband, Kim and their daughter, Mackenzie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Terrill Crump and Rev. Billy Miller officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
