C.B. Terry
ELLENBORO - C.B. Terry, 84, of Terry Road, Ellenboro, died on Monday, December 10, 2012 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Cleveland County, he was born on November 11, 1928, a son of the late Clemit B. and Jeanette Davidson Terry. He retired from Broyhill Furniture. He was a member of Joshua Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Shiloh Horse Club and the owner of Terry Stables. He was a lifelong lover of horses and also loved to spend time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Terry; two brothers, Jerry Terry and Dural Terry; two sisters, Tillie Props and Maxine Greene. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Bridges Terry; one daughter, Debra Terry Dalton and husband Larry of Lake Lure; one brother, Bruce Terry of Ellenboro; four sisters, Nellie Condrey, Carolyn Curtis, Geraldine Gibson and Brenda Manley, all of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Toby Terry, Shannon Hartman, Christy Terry Fontenoy and husband John; his great-grandchildren, K.J. Jugar, Cody Fontenoy, and Dylan Fontenoy.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Joshua Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil Murray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the church sanctuary.
