Caleb "Shane" Tesmer, 49 passed away peacefully at his home in Earl, N.C. on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024.

He was born in Cleveland County Dec. 8th, 1974 . He attended Grayson County High and Radford University near Galax, VA. After college he chose to be a trucker and see the country by 18 wheeler which he loved, till cancer changed his life suddenly. He enjoyed his motorcycle trips, waverider at Moss Lake and a jeep ride in the mountains. He loved his life so much.

Shane was preceded in death by his partner in life, Joey Tesmer and his mother, Carolyn F. Passmore of the home.

Shane is survived by his step dad, Roger Passmore and brother Jackson W. Bryant of his home, his dad, Dennis W. Bryant and step mom Angela Bryant, sister Valerie B. McBride, and brother Kenny Bryant of his Galay, Va home. Also left to cherish his memory is his Grandma Nancy Fitch of Shelby and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews that all made his heart so full.

To honor the life of Shane the family will hold services privately.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Salem Church of Shelby and Children's Home of Cleveland County.
