Camas Scott Whitfield, 28, of Gaffney, formerly of Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his home.

Camas was born on March 17, 1997 in Augusta, GA and was a son of Scott Anthony Whitfield and Kimberly Maloof Whitfiled. He was a graduate of Burns High School. Camas was an avid football fan and enjoyed learning stats on teams and players. He could often be found out detailing his or others cars or spending time with his beloved cats, Georgie and Stormie.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Russell Whitfield and George Maloof.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Master of Arms Petty Officer 3rd Class of the United States Navy, Galen Whitfield; two sister, Ashley Edwards and Allison Echols; and grandmother Jene Maloof.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
