This Friday through Sunday, August 24-26, the Shelby, NC, at Autobell Car Wash located at 806 S. Dekalb Street will host a fundraiser for Officer Tim Sims and his family.

A Cleveland County Sheriff's Deputy of two years and part-time Autobell employee since 2012, Sims, 24, was wounded in the line of duty on August 14, sustaining multiple injuries that will require long-term medical care and rehabilitation. Sims and his wife, Cassidy, are expecting twins in March 2019.
Autobell will donate $1 from washes purchased that include interior and exterior cleaning August 24-26 at the Shelby location to assist Tim and Cassidy.
The Shelby Autobell location is open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
"I have had the privilege of watching Tim mature into a fine young man," stated Autobell District Manager Shea Houser. "He's always been there for us, and I'm thankful that in his time of need, we can partner with our community to be there for him and his family."
