Carl Franklin Hull, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on July 29, 2025, at Atrium Health- Cleveland.

Born on December 30, 1948, in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Buren Cletus Hull and Ruby Lee Morrison Hull.

Carl will be lovingly remembered by his near and dear ones, including his children, Mick Hull and wife Sheila of Casar, and Carla Hull along with family friend Earlene Nestor of Morganton. His legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren, Josh Hull and fiancée Elizebeth Hoyle; Allison Hull and Chris Parker; and Kayla Bivins and husband John, as well as his cherished great-grandchildren, Eian Hull, Kaden Hull, Charlie Hull, and Micah Bivins. His brother, Louie Hull and wife Linda, as well as his brother Ray Hull, all remain in Casar to uphold his memory. Carl's life was enriched by the presence of his nephews, Ryan Hull and wife Kristin, and Tim Hull and wife Theresa. His passing was preceded by that of his infant brother Steve Hull and sister-in-law Linda Hull.

His career began at General Electric before his passion for craftsmanship led him to become a respected Cabinet Maker. His hands could shape wood into functional art, creating pieces there were both beautiful and enduring. Carl took pride in being a dedicated member of the New Home Church, where he lived his Christian faith through his actions and commitment to his community.

An avid outdoorsman, Carl found peace and pleasure in fishing and rabbit hunting. He harbored a particular affection for trading Beagles and Coon Dogs.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Zoar Baptist Church.

A graveside will follow the visitation on Friday at 1:00pm in the church cemetery.
