Carl Howard Hudson, 87, of Casar Road, Casar, passed away Saturday, April 2,
2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in Shelby.

He was born in Cleveland County on October 17, 1928 to the late Johnny
Lemmie Hudson and Barbara Jane Turner Hudson. He was retired from Century
Furniture Company after 38 years of service, and was a member of Corinth
Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of eighteen
years Affie Newton Hudson; and three sisters, Leunia Johnson, Lula Mae
Downs, and Mary Sue Brady.

He is survived by a brother Frank Hudson; two sisters, Dorothy Piercy of
Morganton and Muril Hull of Valdese; and two special caregivers, Frances
Hudson and Brenda Kay Warlick.

The family would also like to thank Peek Resourses for all the love and care
they provided Carl during his illness.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral will be held on Monday at 4:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with the Revs. Micah Piercy and Matthew Morgan officiating.

The burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.

Center, Inc., Fallston.
