Carol Herring, born November 8, 1954, departed this life to a calm, everlasting light on September 12, 2025, at age 70.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frankey Herring; her loving mother, Mary "Hazel" Dodd; and her cherished daughter, Donna Kay Morland, now reunited with them in eternal rest.
Carol leaves behind her devoted son, Earl "Skipper" Miller, and his wife Denise, 8 grand children, and a host of great-grand children, who will forever carry her memory with them.
Carol's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her legacy one of unconditional love and selflessness. She found small pieces of joy and respite in the everyday whether puzzling through a challenging jigsaw, indulging a cup of coffee, or entertaining her love of carousel horses.
In quiet moments, you could feel her steady, unwavering presence. She cherished family and friends, celebrated their successes, and offered a comforting word in times of need. She was never more than a stones throw away.
A private celebration of Carols life will be held for family and friends to gather to share memories and reflect on the impact she made during her time with us.
May she rest in eternal peace.
