Carolyn Brittain Philbeck, 67, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.

Carolyn was born on September 16, 1953 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late Graten Brittain and Lillian Martin Brittain. She was retired from Sweetree in Cherryville. Carolyn was a member of Plainsview Baptist Church in Lawndale.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an additional set of parents who raised her, Robert and Mary Brittain; four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ronnie Philbeck of the home; two daughters, Tammy Glover of Cherryville and Elizabeth "Beth" Williams of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Mary Daisy Grant of Lincolnton and Helen Greene of Fallston; a brother Robert Brittain of Cherryville; six grandchildren, Jessica, Amber, Taylor, Zach, Jase and Remi; three great grandchildren, Autumn, Jarvis and Jaxson.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 12:45 to 1:45 PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.

Burial will be private.
