Carolyn Greene Hamrick, 73, died Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Zella Morgan Greene.

She was a member of Westover Baptist Church, and a former employee of McDonalds and Goodwill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hamrick; and son, Allan Hamrick.

She is survived by her son, David Hamrick of Kings Mountain; sister, Gail Jenkins and husband Bryan of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Ambreia Dills, Ashlee and Adam Hamrick; great grandchildren, Kaylie and Aubrey Dills; and nephew, Chad Blanton and his girlfriend Tracy Richards of Mooresboro.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Stroup officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
