Carolyn Joan "Mama Patterson" Patterson

In the beginning God created the heaven and earth. Then he created great people like "Mama Patterson." She was a great mother, grandmother, and most of all, a friend of Jesus. She was a very kind and sweet individual to everyone she encountered. She was known as a "prayer warrior." If family or friends needed to touch Jesus, they would contact "Mama Patterson." Attending church at First Apostolic Church, where she was a member, or other various revival services was her life. For she lived to serve Jesus!! "Mama Patterson" is considered by so many as the model Christian. In addition to church attendance, she also enjoyed trips to the mountains, family gatherings, and playing with two of her great grand dogs, "Felina" and "Casper." Our community will never be the same now that she's passed. She will be missed by so many. 2 Timothy 4:68 says "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
