Carolyn Sue McCurry Allred, age 83 of Shelby, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022.

She is survived by her loving children, Jerry Allred Jr. (Sherry) of Lattimore, NC, Michael Allred (Alison) of High Point, NC, and Stephen Allred (Annette) of Sylva, NC, four grandchildren, and three grandchildren.

Born April 25, 1939 in Cleveland County, NC, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Erastus and Iva Hamrick McCurry and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Leonard Allred, Sr., a granddaughter, and a brother.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
