Carolyn Sue Walker Rikard, 82 of Casar Road, Lawndale, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at her residence.

Born in Lincoln County, NC on June 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Russell Leonard Walker and Mary Frances Alexander Walker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Lawson Rikard; three brothers, Barry Walker, Jim Walker, Eddie Walker and sister, Mary Ann Ingle.

Survivors include daughter, Shelia Avery of Lincolnton; two sons, Gregory Scott Rikard and wife, Suanne of Casar and Marty Charles Rikard and wife, Vickie of Lawndale; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:30 pm at New Home United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Padgett officiating.
