Mrs. Carolyn Sue White, age 66 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her residence.
She is survived by her children, Connie Greene of Hollis, NC, and Wade Davis of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren, Michael Walker II (Tabitha), Megan Carpenter (Lee), Brian Greene, and Brandon Greene (fiancé Samantha Matthews), a great grandson, Tripp Walker, brothers, Charles White, Morris White (Bill), Jimmy White, David White, sisters, Annette Sarratt and Immogene White, a former son-in-law, Mike Walker, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born July 19, 1951 in Cleveland County, Mrs. White was born to the late Sid White and Ada Head White and was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steve Greene, two sisters, Cathy Nance and Nancy White, and a brother, Kenneth White.
The family would like to express a sincere thanks to the staff at Hospice and caregiver, Randy Elmore for the loving care they gave Carolyn.
Carolyn loved her Pug, "Boo-Boo". She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Dennis Tolley. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
