 Carroll Lee Towery, 81, of Vale, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton.
Born in Cleveland County on September 18, 1940, he was a son of the late George Troy Towery and Kate Bell Swink Towery. He was retired from Classic Leather.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Geneva Mae Workman Towery; one son, Ricky Lee Towery; one daughter, Diane Hartman and husband Jesse; grandchildren, Matthew Lee Towery, Ricky Dean Clinton and Lisa Nicole Clinton; six great grandchildren, Anthony, Alexis, Brooke, Nona, Jacob and Kinsley; great great grandchildren, Ava Mae Lail and Wyliam Carroll Bivens and four brothers, Gene Towery, Fred Towery, Earl Towery and Keith Towery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Hightower officiating.
The burial will follow the service in the Bingham Memorial Church Cemetery.
