| Casar VFD Celebrates 50th Anniversary |

5757 Casar Road is the new address of the expansion and new building for the Casar Volunteer Fire Department. On Saturday, April 2nd the anniversary and grand opening celebration offered free food, blue grass music and a lot of smiles on the faces of the volunteers. Chief Dewey Cook said he was pleased to see the great community turnout at the new eight bay station. The department has thirty-six volunteer firemen and seven trucks.
