Cathy Louis Hamrick, age 67 passed away at her home. A native of Shelby, NC she was the daughter of the late Louis M. Hamrick, Jr. and Sarah Stewart Hamrick.

Cathy was devoted to her family, and loved spending time with them enjoying the great outdoors. Especially time spent on or around the water.

Left to cherish her memory are her companion, Charles Scruggs; one daughter, Sarah Brooke Sechriest; one grandson, Jackson Keller Earwood and a number of other relatives and friends.

A private service will be held by the family and Cathy will be laid to rest in Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC.
