The CBA/ABATE, of Cleveland County, serves two purposes for our community. CBA/ABATE of N.C. is a non-profit motorcycle rights organization dedicated to the rights of all motorcyclist regardless of race, political affiliation, membership in another motorcycle organization, religious beliefs, geographic heritage, or brand of motorcycle you own or ride. It also believes in giving back to the communities’ less fortunate. Without events like this golf tournament, and the support there of, neither of the items mentioned would be possible. Even if you don’t have an affiliation to the motorcycle community, nor really have the monies to make contributions., you can show your support by making simple changes. Support our supporters. For example, the next time you need a ride don’t call a friend, instead call AA United Cab. The next time you’re feeling hungry swing by Kentucky Fried Chicken or Taste T Drive In. Here are a few other CBA/ABATE supporters, we recommend: Becky’s Screen Printing, Bill Starnes Appraisal Service, Chip & Sip Inc., Commercial Vehicle Group, Cool Cycle, Dedmon’s Moving and Storage, Dr. Chip Jones, Fox Distributing, Homestar Financial Corp., Humphries Automotive, McDaniel Towing, Ledford and West Surveying, Panther Ironworks, R & M Beach Rentals, Shelby Eye Centers, Shelby Outdoor Power Equipment, Shelby Shopper, Southern Wall Products, Staffmasters Inc., Sundrop and The Bumper Doctor. Not only did these businesses help make the golf tournament a reality, but some of our fellow motorcycle organizations helped support it too. The Cleveland County Independent Bikers, The Sons of Thunder and the Guardians of the Children, are just a few that showed great generosity and support to the CBA/ABATE of Cleveland County.
