Cedric Trenton Ramseur, 48, of 106 Cline St. Shelby, NC passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on August 4, 1973 in Cleveland County to the late Charles Ramseur, Sr. and the late Linda Parrish Ramseur.

Cedric played football and graduated from Crest High School. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and telling jokes with friends and family. His favorite pastime was listening to old and new R&B music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kisa Mae Addison.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his children, Veronica Stroud, La'Nique Stroud, Rakisha Stroud and Cedric Ramseur all of Shelby; two brothers, Calvin Ramseur and Charles Ramseur, Jr. (Kimberly) both of Shelby; one sister, Twyla Johnson (Mike) of Jacksonville, NC; four grandchildren, Taraji Stroud, Garrion Addison, Jr., Jace Wood and Reign Wood and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Ramseur will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM at the chapel.
