Charles Buford Huffman, 80, of Vale, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at UNC Health - Blue Ridge in Rutherford College.

Born in Cleveland County on September 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Roy Huffman and Charlene Detter Huffman. He was retired from Wright Brothers Tomato Company as a truck driver. He was also a member of the Cooksville Fire Department for 51 years and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Maxine Willis Huffman; one son, Allen Charles Huffman of Vale and three sisters, Janice Williams, Ruth Johnson and Brenda Bollinger all of Vale.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allen Boliek officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
