Charles Gosnell, 81, of Rutherfordton, passed away peacefully at his home, December 15, 2018. Charles was born December 15, 1937 to the late Ishmeal Gosnell and Minnie Harris Gosnell. He was a loving father, husband, brother and son.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alma Gosnell; son, Scott Gosnell; two step daughters, Pamela Greene and Teresa Pullium; four grandchildren, Shane Martin, Miranda Pullium, Aiden and Allyssa Dalton; two sisters, Juanita Arrowood and Patsy Mooney; two brothers, Jean Gosnell and Donald Gosnell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Joe Russell Bright Jr.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 250 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC with Bishop Kendall Oliphant officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cliffside Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
