Charles Heyward "Pete" White, age 86, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at his home.

He was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Platt Dean and Mae Crawford White, brother of the late Bill C. and Bobby Dean White, Sr. He was retired from farming and operating heavy equipment. He was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and former Fire Chief of the Boiling Springs City Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Beason White; a brother, Ed White; 7 children, Carol Smith, Charles White, Jr., Meredith Morehead, Celeste Thurman, John White, Katherine Gamble and Joel White; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday November 3, 2021 in the Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery and conducted by the Revs. Buddy Morehead and Tim Elmore.
