Christine Oaks Alford, age 56 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Born July 30, 1964, Christine was the daughter of the late George Dewey Oaks Jr. and the late Carolyn Porter Philbeck.

She is survived by husband Greg Potter, daughters Heather Linnens, Summer Ortiz, Casey Medlin, son Scotty Potter, sisters Regina Hulsey, Sharon Kelly, LeeAnn Davenport, Loretta Harrison, Donnis Bridges, brothers Dewey Lee Oaks, James Oaks, grandchildren Ryder Linnens, Caramia Ortiz, and Piper Linnens.

There will be a short Visitation followed by a Memorial Service Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4357 W. Dixon Blvd., Shelby, NC 28152 beginning at 6:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you to make a donation in her name to the church.
