Christopher "Chris" Monroe Queen, 50 of Hinton Creek Road, Shelby, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on September 5, 1971, he was the son of Koehler Simpson Queen and Meredith Gettys Queen. Chris was a self-employed brick mason and was a member of the Casar Masonic Lodge # 579.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Chase McNeilly and Peyton Queen both of Casar; mother of his children, Tracy McNeilly Queen and special friend, Susan Williams.

The family will greet friends following the graveside service.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Scott, Rev. Doug Pruett and Rev. Jamie Bridges officiating.
