Cindy Ann Towery Oaks, 65, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2028, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Cleavy Eugene Towery and Dorcas Mae Davis Towery. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Henry Oaks, Jr.; her brothers, David and Larry Towery; and her daughter-in-law, Amy Oaks.

Cindy loved her family deeply and was known for her bright, uplifting spirit. She was a determined and resilient woman, a true fighter who never gave up on anything she set her mind to.

She is survived by her fiancé Lawrence Wilson, children, Bobby Wayne Oaks, Henry Eugene Oaks, and Angela Nicole Oaks, along with a cherished multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

To honor Cindy's life, the family will hold private services.
