SHELBY- Clara "Bo" Bivins Lemmons, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and pastor, Wed., Nov. 9, 2016, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Matti McCurry Bivins. She was a devoted member of Clearview Baptist Church, where she loved her lord and sang in the choir. She had a love for quilting and sewing, and was often seen sitting in her swing, on her front porch. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lemmons Jr., son, Ricky Lemmons; and six brothers and sisters.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Butch Lemmons and wife Mary Sue; daughter, Gail Lemmons, all of Shelby; grandchildren, Dr. Heather Lemmons and Amanda Franklin, both of Shelby; great-grandchildren, Keely Lemmons, Julian Philbeck, and Aiden Franklin; daughter-in-law, Christy Lemmons of Shelby. The family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland County, and nurse, Jeannie King, for all their love and care.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, 12:30-2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

OFFICIATING: Rev. Barry Miles will officiate

BURIAL: Will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
