Clarence "Kim" Kimsey Stinchcomb

SHELBY: Clarence "Kim" Kimsey Stinchcomb, 67, died Friday, January 7, 2022 at Caromont Health in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Odies "Clarence" and Shirley Sisk Stinchcomb. Kim was a lifelong member of New Bethel Church of Shelby, a retired member of the Bethlehem Vol. Fire Department, and worked at Eaton and Polygram for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Stinchcomb. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly and Ashely Stinchcomb, both of Kings Mountain; brother, Scott Stinchcomb of Shelby; grandchildren, Kairee, Braelyn, Channing and Jovie; special friend, Jean Hawkins of Gaffney; special cousins, Bobbi Gibson of Shelby and Tammy Dodson of Wilmington; and many other extended family. The family will receive friends 6-7:30P.M., Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 1:00P.M., Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at New Bethel Church of Shelby, with the Rev. Mark Patchett officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
