The Number Three High School Class of 1963 donated $175.00 to Number Three Elementary School on October 30, 2015. In 1963, Number Three School was a high school, grades 8-12, with 50 members in the senior class. Later in 1967, Number Three became an elementary school, but members of Number Three High School have fond memories of their time at the high school and their close association with faculty, staff, and community. Joyce Wright Sheaffer, a representative of the 1963 High School class, presented the donation to Principal Molly Blanton. Principal Blanton said, "Number Three looks forward to adding books to the library from this generous donation." Sandra Yarbro, librarian, will paste a donation seal in each book, noting the 1963 class donation.
