Claude Lee Craig, 83, of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at his home.

Born in Marion County, Indiana on January 21, 1938, he was a son of the late Claude Revere Craig and Virginia Adeline Neff Craig. He was retired from Mills Construction as a carpenter and also served in the US Airforce.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Thomas Eugene Craig; two brothers, Jack Craig and Joe Craig; and a sister, Judith Woodruff.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Patricia Ann Poehler Craig; two sons, Claude Lee Craig II (Becky) of Connelly Springs and Robert Craig (Mandy) of Connelly Springs; four daughters, Penny Martin (Steve) of Fallston, Tammy Cook (Chris) of Casar, Cathy Ramos (Mel) of Germany, and Virginia Beckett (Brad) of Stuart, FL; three brothers, Lawrence Craig of Indianapolis, IN, Gary Craig of Indianapolis, IN and Mike Craig of Jacksonville, FL; and three sisters, Beverly Lucas, Tina Minneman and Toni Cheek all of Indianapolis, IN; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 13, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm , at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. John Ware officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
