Claudia B. Seagle of Shelby passed away at CMC Main in Charlotte, NC on Friday, October 21, 2016.

Claudia was born in Memphis, TN August 7, 1931, to Claudia Mae and Adrian Boyd. She grew up in Clarksdale and Natchez, MS. She attended the University of Alabama, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics. Claudia was an accomplished painter and artist, an avid gardener, and a gracious hostess. Claudia is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bill Seagle.

She is survived by her two children, son Alex Seagle and wife Kelley of Shelby, and daughter Adrienne Fuston and husband, Danny of Buford, GA; three grandchildren, Jay Fuston, Mandy Brown and husband Paul, and Will Fuston; two great granddaughters, Aubry and Austyn Fuston, and great granddaughter, Madi Grace Brown due in November.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Christina Auch officiating. A reception will follow from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Claudia's home at 908 Hawthorne Road, Shelby.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choosing.
