Cleveland Community College Small Business Seminars set

The Small Business Center at Cleveland Community College is offering two seminars this summer. "We want to continue giving all businesses and organizations in Cleveland County opportunities to improve their potential for success," said Steve Padgett, Director of the Small Business Center.
Non-profit organizations must continually look for new funding sources and ways to support their services and mission. A special seminar entitled Fundraising Fundamentals for Non-Profits will be held at the LeGrand Center, room 6109, on Thursday, May 26, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. This session will review the primary elements of fundraising, compare the types of fundraising to the organization's needs, and describe best practices.
On Thursday, June 2, a seminar about How to Start a Business - Identifying the ABCs will be held at the LeGrand Center, room 6109, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The seminar will identify and discuss in detail the factors and topics that are crucial to starting a business. This class is for the entrepreneur or prospective small business owner.
Everyone is invited to attend these FREE seminars. The fall schedule for small business seminars is being prepared at this time. Topics, dates and locations for these seminars will be announced soon.
