If you fish in any tournaments, you know you have to get up early to travel and fish 8 hours.
There are no fan stands, no cheerleaders, no band playing at halftime. This is a long day and requires dedication.
Cleveland County Bass Anglers, (CCBA) local High School and Jr High Fishing Team, are in their 5th year! CCBA is a great organization for the youth of our county to compete in the sport of fishing and gives the them the opportunity of going to college on a scholarship.
CCBA fished at Lake Tillery on September 20th. There were 74 NC High School teams and 19 NC Jr High teams that competed against each other. CCBA's Jon Gavin Dellinger and Caiden Little took 3rd place in the High School Series with a weight of 13.82 lbs and Korben Burgess and Mack Josey finished 5th with a bag weighing 5.50lbs in the Jr High Series.
