The Cleveland County Fair was presented with the image award at the North Carolina Association of Agricultural Fairs' annual convention. The award is given to fairs that best represent what an agricultural fair should be. Winners are selected based on every aspect of the fair, including agricultural displays, livestock shows, youth involvement, contests, entertainment and food.
