 KOSA

The retirees from Kosa fished Lake Wylie last week. John Black and Roger McNeilly got the win with 13.30. Ken Johnson and Fred Wright took second with 9.20  and a close third was James Haynes and Tommy Wess with 9.05. Big bass was a 4.80 largemouth brought in by Tony Black and Ned Blanton. This week the oldtimers will hit Lake Norman.

Moss

Finally a good turnout last week at Moss Lake for the weekly Thursday night bass tournament. Twenty-four boats fished with Mitch and Stacey Gardner getting the win with 11.01. They also had big bass of the evening with a 5.67 largemouth. Arnold Ledford and Clayton Wright took second with 9.39 and third was Keith Burton with 6.97. Fourth place with 5.66 was Brian and Cody Hoyle and fifth went to Jerry Green and Daniel Downs with 5.16. Weather wise, this should be another good week to head on out for tonight’s event.

After last week’s Cleveland County bass club event on Lake Hickory, points are becoming very precious. James Osborne still leads over Roger Beaver and Tyler Hensley. Ray Hembree sits fourth with Tom Mayhew and Chuck Camp close behind. Larry Melton and John Presnell are seventh and eighth respectively and rounding out the top ten and hoping for some good results the last 4 events are Ronnie Humphries and Roger Hamrick. Fishing Creek is up next for the CCBC on September 25.
