Cleveland County Rescue Mission to benefit from 106.9 The Light Radio-Thon

Through a partnership 106.9 The Light, Cleveland County Rescue Mission (CCRM) will be featured as a beneficiary of a Radio-thon Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
Beginning at 6 a.m. and running until 6 p.m., callers will be able to pledge support and donate to the life-changing work that is being done right here in Cleveland County; transforming homeless individuals to capable and productive members of their community.
Three other rescue missions in North Carolina will join CCRM as beneficiaries to this great opportunity to spread awareness about the excellent work Rescue Missions do across our nation, so callers will be asked to name the Cleveland County Rescue Mission as their choice for support.
CCRM is a non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to providing shelter, recovery programs, and supportive services to the homeless by proclaiming the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. CCRM offers Christ-centered addiction recovery programs and an array of educational classes, including personal finance, Adult High School, Cleveland County Work Ready Certification, job skill training, theology, healthy living, volunteer work program, basic life skills, and vocational training. These programs help residents gain employment, further their education, build self-confidence, and transition to more stable or permanent housing. Last fiscal year, CCRM provided over 11,000 nights of shelter and served over 34,000 meals to the homeless and hungry of Cleveland and surrounding counties.
