It is with great sadness we announce that Cody Scott Ellis, age 35, passed away on Saturday, September 05, 2026 while at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born Rutherford County to Joleen Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his best friend and wife, Rachael Ellis of the home; daughters, Jessica Faye Ellis, and Annabelle Ellis; son, Alucard Ellis; brothers, Dusty Ellis, and John Ellis; mother and step-father, Joleen Williams and husband, Jeffwilliams.

During Cody's lifetime, he worked in the Restaurant Business. His family was very important to him. He was a loving husband and father and was very protective of them. He enjoyed playing video games, messing with electronics and cooking. His famous sayings were "Life's unfair and "Don't knock it till you try it". He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
