Commodities Distribution Is Sept. 8th
Volunteers unload one of several trucks carrying food that will feed 2800 families for 6 weeks. Food is distributed once a quarter through various agencies.
The Shelby Lions Club will be distributing food on September 8, 2011 at the Cleveland County Fairground. Individuals who wish to receive food should come to the Fairgounds on Thursday. Sept. 8 and fill out an application. You will need some identification and must live in Cleveland County. Because of the size of this distribution, please bring a box or large bag that will hold the food. If a person is unable to come themselves - they may send a note with the number in their family, their address and their whole family income and sign the note. The distribution is based on the number in the family and the family's income. Photos Furnished
