| Communities In Schools To Host Chili Supper |

Brrrr…It’s chili time! Communities In Schools will host a Chili Supper at the Shelby High School cafeteria for the Burns vs. Shelby football game on Friday, October 26, 2012. The chili will be served with toppings, cornbread, dessert and a drink for $5. Tickets are available at the CIS office at 215 S. Washington St., Shelby, NC 28150, and at the offices of Shelby High School and Burns High School.
Dr. Jim Wilson of Stroud, Wilson and Thompson dental practice is a proud sponsor of this year’s tailgate meal. The mission of Communities In Schools is to surround students with a community of support , empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
