COOLING OFF AT THE BROAD RIVER GREENWAY

Folks have been gathering at the river to try and find relief from the heat. These families enjoyed the cooling waters at Broad River Greenway recently.

The Broad River Greenway is owned in partnership with Cleveland County and the Town of Boiling Springs. Day to Day operations are managed by a seventeen member, all volunteer board which includes citizens from across the region including community leaders, retired teachers, Gardner-Webb professors, contractors, volunteer fire fighters, and business owners.

The Greenway has two staff members: a full-time park ranger and part-time executive director that manage the approximately 1500 acre property.

Funding consists of community donations, corporate partnerships, grants from Cleveland County and the Town of Boiling Springs, state and federal grant programs, and various foundations.

Greenway Hours are Dawn to Dusk
