Cornelia Hines Durham, 91, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Peak Resources of Cherryville.

She was born in Rutherford County to the late Gifton Hines and Estelle Wilson Hines. She is also predeceased by one daughter, Donna Potter (Jerry Potter); son-in-law, Billy Varnadore; two brothers, Otis Hines and Dennis Hines; one sister, Revis Henderson.

Cornelia leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Gary Durham; granddaughter, Nicole Humphries (Jason); great-grandchildren, Tyler Potter, Jacob Humphries and Addison Humphries; son, Jimmy Martin; granddaughters, Kerith Martin and Lacey Smith (Billy); great-granddaughter, Arlie Smith. daughter, Diane Varnadore (Billy); one sister, Arvenia Henson; grandchildren, Michelle Fowler, Michael Greene, Denise Pumel, Crystal Hewitt (Kevin) and Wendy Gilreath (Chris); great-grandchildren, Chase Fowler, Casey Fowler, Alexis Greene, Lane Harris, Brianna Gilreath, Ethin Gilreath, Damian Gilreath, Aubri Gilreath, Braxton Hewitt and Braden Hewitt; great-great-grandchildren, Camile Greene, Haze Conner, Kaeleigh Fluet, Dalton Meece, Zaydan Shippy and Jaxx Garcia; great-great-great-grandchild, Raylann Oaks.

Cornelia was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing for her family. She will be missed but always in our hearts.

A Visitation Only will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Hicks Grove Baptist Church, 571 Hicks Grove Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
