Cleveland County Law Enforcement Memorial Day is Friday, May 13, 2016. A ceremony to honor and remember fallen Law Enforcement Officers - "Honoring Heroes" - will be held at 11:00am at the Shelby Police Department Memorial Site, corner of Lafayette and Graham Streets in Shelby, NC. Guest speaker will be Corey Ellis, Assistant U.S. Attorney. All Cleveland County Law Enforcement Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty will be honored. The event is open to the public and all Law Enforcement agencies are encouraged to be present.
The ceremony is sponsored by Cleveland County Christian Law Enforcement Officers Association.
